The basics

What is Webspin, exactly?

We’re an AI-driven design studio. We use information that’s already public about your business — what you do, where you’re located, what your reviews say — to design a complete website for you, on spec, before you ever talk to us. If you like it, you can claim it. If you don’t, one click takes it down.

Can I ask you to build a website?

Yes. Request a free preview using your current website and contact email. We ask you to verify that you represent the business, review your request, and email you when a preview is ready or we need more details. No payment card or purchase is required. How does pricing work?

Two parts, both simple. $399, once, buys the finished website, including a downloadable export. Third-party assets and embedded platform material keep their licenses as described in our Terms. Keeping it live is a subscription: $19 a month (or $200 a year) covers hosting on your own domain plus the editor. Eligible first subscriptions may include a free period; the offer is shown before checkout. The subscription is optional — owning what you bought never requires it. Hosting renews at your selected rate after the free period until you cancel. Domain registration is separate.

Do I own the site I buy?

Yes. The one-time purchase makes the site yours — host our export anywhere, modify it, hand it to a developer, use it subject to any third-party asset licenses. We keep the right to use the same design patterns in other sites we make (the tools and AI systems are ours), but the specific site we built for you is yours to keep. Editing your site

Can I edit it myself?

Yes — that’s most of the point. While your site is hosted with us, it comes with an editor: click any text and type, swap photos, update hours, prices, and menus. Those manual edits are included with your plan, and your live site only changes when you hit Publish — nothing goes out until you say so. No developer, no waiting.

What about bigger changes?

Describe what you want — “add a section for our spring special,” “make the tone friendlier,” “try a different look” — and the AI drafts it. You review the result before it replaces anything. AI changes are included with the subscription, and you get a few free ones with the purchase so you can try it before subscribing.

What if I don’t like it?

Before you buy: tell us what’s off and we’ll change it, or click “Not for me” on the preview and we take it down. After you buy: you have 14 days to ask for a full refund, no questions asked. Full terms in our Refund Policy.

Hosting & your domain

Can I get my own domain on the site?

Yes — that’s the normal setup. After you claim the site, we put it live on your existing domain (we’ll walk you through pointing the DNS), or walk you through registering a new one with any registrar. SSL is included, and there’s no separate setup fee.

What happens if I cancel the subscription?

Your site stays yours. Hosting and the editor stop at the end of the paid period, and the site comes off your domain — but you keep your full export, downloadable from your account (and if you’ve made changes since you bought, ask and we’ll send you an export of the latest version). Host it anywhere, or come back later and we’ll put your site live again. Your exported files remain yours. Download a copy before closing your account.

Where did you get the information for my site?

Publicly available sources only — your name, location, services, and reviews from places like Google Maps. We don’t scrape anything that isn’t already indexed, and we don’t use any data behind a login. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Logistics

How long is my preview link active?

Previews stay live for as long as you’re engaging with them. If a preview goes 60 days without anyone looking at it, we take it down automatically — we don’t want to leave drafts of someone else’s business sitting on the internet indefinitely. If you come back later and want a fresh look, just ask.

Will my preview show up in search results?

No. Every preview is marked “do not index” for search engines, and the URL is unguessable. Only people you (or we) share the link with will find it.

Will it match my brand?

The first design is our best read of your business from public information — which usually gets the tone, palette, and structure close enough to recognize, but not perfect on the first try. Ask for changes before you buy, and once it’s yours, keep dialing it in with the editor — colors, imagery, copy, anything.
